Parent Resources

Updated August 5, 2026

These resources cover the forms, tools, and program information Pack 807 families use most often. If you are unsure what applies to a particular activity, ask your den leader or check the current event listing.

Annual Health and Medical Record

Scouts and participating adults should keep a current Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record. Parts A and B are used for typical Scouting activities; Part C may be required for longer or more demanding activities. Follow the instructions from Pack leadership for the specific event and return medical information only through the requested private channel.

Cub Scout Dens by Grade

  • Kindergarten: Lion
  • First grade: Tiger
  • Second grade: Wolf
  • Third grade: Bear
  • Fourth grade: Webelos
  • Fifth grade: Arrow of Light

Each grade has its own handbook and age-appropriate Adventures. Read more about the Cub Scout advancement program.

Scoutbook Plus

Scoutbook Plus is Scouting America's official advancement system. Families can review their Scout's progress, and leaders use it to record and approve completed requirements.

Check with your den leader before marking requirements complete so your entries match the den's advancement process.

Uniforms and Activity Shirts

Pack 807 generally wears the blue Cub Scout uniform for indoor Den Adventures and Pack Parties. Outdoor and extracurricular Pack activities generally use the yellow Pack 807 activity shirt. The event listing will identify any different expectation.

Ask your den leader or Cubmaster before buying items if you are uncertain about your Scout's grade-specific uniform.

Handbooks and Program Basics

Each grade level has a current Cub Scout handbook containing required and elective Adventures. The handbook is a useful family reference even when advancement is also tracked online.

New families should also review Scouting Principles and the information available through Join Pack 807.
